We celebrated Canada Day just a few days ago and now, we get to celebrate the independence of the United States on the Fourth of July.
To all of my American neighbors to the south, I wish you a happy Independence Day. Get out there, enjoy a good brew, good food, good company, and good fireworks.
To this end, I thought that it would be rather apt to select a quote from the first President of the United States, George Washington. He is the father of your nation, after all.
For something a little more contemporary, you may want to consider one of the books by Barack Obama… though he probably hired a ghost writer to “help” him with many of those. 🙂
